Chimichurri | A Cult Classic, Now at Fuego

They say you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a Chimi Cheese — which is basically the same thing. Chimichurri Bali is what happens when two food lovers, Mariano from Argentina and Vi Vi from Java, turn a humble neighborhood joint into a full-blown cult favorite. The grill was always hot, the vibes always warm, and the food next-level without ever trying too hard.

Order the burger, the smoky grilled pizza, or literally anything that hits the coals — and don’t be surprised if you start planning your week around when you can come back. While Chimichurri’s Ungasan location has closed, fear not: the Chimichurri menu lives on at their Pererenan fine-dining spot, Fuego. Same heart, same fire — just dressed up for a night out.

Check out this video to see how Mariano and Vi Vi do what they do, and how these two legends got started.
